There must be a separate statute dealing with this current issue so that the rights of living partners, children born out of such relationships and all those people who are likely to get affected by such relationships should be protected. The legitimate status of Live-in Relationships should satisfy the certain basic requirements of society. The legal consequences of such living are arising regarding the live-in partners as per the awareness about live-in relationships nowadays.
