The Commerce Department at Dr.M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute, Deemed to be University was established in the year 2014. The department offers courses as B.ComGeneral, B.com-Accounting & finance, B.Com-Corporate Secretary ship, B.Com computer application, M.Com, M.Phil, Ph.d Courses. The department provides teaching in the area of Commerce, Accounting, Economics, and Business Statistics also includes various specialization papers in Commerce. The Department is equipped with WIFI facilities and has a centralised computer lab to support the students. The Department has a high placement record with nearly 85% students placed and shall be continuing to march forward and guiding the students in achieving their goals. The department maintains a good industry and institutional interaction.
