Concept of Child Labour with Socio Economic Development

In this study initiative, gracious cooperation and assistance was given to me by my teacher Dr. R. C. Singh, Ph.D., (Pat.), Professor of Labour & Social welfare, Patna University, Patna, His touch provoking comments have often stimulated fresh lines of thinking and I express my deep sense of gratitude to him for his constant guidance and encouragement.

I am indebted to the working children, their parents and masters who responded to the questionnaire. Without their cooperation this study could not have been completed. Though there had been hesitation amongst them in response to certain questions, even then the information supplied by them has encouraged me.
