Synopsis

The Viksit Bharat @2047 initiative seeks to evolve India as a developed nation by its centenary of independence, in 2047. This forward-looking plan focuses on inclusive growth and sustainable development with effective governance. Key to this transformation is the active participation of India's youth, who are seen as both the agents and the recipients of change. Honorable Prime Minister stressed their importance, saying, “Power of youth is not just change-agent but also the beneficiaries of change. As such, initiatives and platforms such as Voice of Youth are crafted to channel their creativity, energy and ideas and must align their aspirations to national development goals. This approach promotes innovation and advancement as well as self reliance, with significant announcements made in order to expedite the achievement of Viksit Bharat 2047.
